Mō te tūranga | About the Role
This is the perfect role for someone with experience in general site preparation, trenching, operating machinery, and is able to communicate effectively with our operations team.
As our Driver/Labourer, you'll be part of our field teams, working alongside line mechanics engaged in transport management, line construction and maintenance work, erection of distribution equipment, cable laying and line patrolling.
Nā tāu rourou | What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
a minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role
a full driver's licence (Classes 1–5)
a strong commitment to health and safety
sound judgement, initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving
the ability to multitask and prioritise work according to timeframes
It's a bonus if you have:
A tracks and wheels and/or forklift licence
Experience operating a bulldozer
Hi-Ab crane work
