The company
A New Zealand-owned and operated business who specialise in health and wellbeing products. They have established a reputation for supplying local and international markets with quality products.
The culture is that of a small business where the team all love to be challenged, enjoy rolling up their sleeves to get the job done, while having a lot of fun along the way.
As a result of the business continuing to grow and expand into new markets, they are looking to appoint a Supply Chain Manager to provide leadership and coordination of their end-to-end supply chain.
The opportunity
Responsibilities
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will report to the CEO and manage the companies end to end supply chain activities which will include the following key responsibilities:
- Lead all supply chain activities for a growing business supplying local and international markets
- Management of all planning and forecasting
- You will have one direct report (Inventory/Supply Chain Coordinator)
- Managing relationships and performance of 3PL and co-manufacturing partners
- Procurement and purchasing of materials. packaging and services
- Reporting and analysis of key supply chain metrics
- Continuous Improvement of processes, policies and supply chain performance
- Scaling the supply chain function to support a growing business – better use of existing/new technology, optimisation and the adoption of S&OP

As the business develops, you are ready to take on new challenges and apply yourself in areas where you feel you can contribute.
Some experience working within FMCG is preferred, given the product range, though the key traits we are looking for is a supply chain professional with a great hands-on attitude who wants the opportunity to take on challenges and run a successful supply chain while working in a team of passionate people who love what they do.
