Mō tēnei tūrangi mahi | About this role

We're looking for the right person to provide technical expertise on our client work, as well as helping to lead and develop a supportive culture within our office alongside our senior leaders. Key accountabilities include:

• Support our clients through technology change by setting an approach, delivering designs, implementing change and monitoring outcomes. This will include:

• Developing technology strategies and designing roadmaps to support the delivery of business objectives;

• Developing enterprise level data designs, approaches and implementation strategies to support clients to improve their use of data, and empower data-driven decision making; and
• Develop enterprise level technology designs that identify technology functionality to support business requirements, and support discussions around how to best deliver the technology solutions (e.g. off the shelf, custom development...).
• Support the development of business and technology architecture, including the design of processes to support business strategies;
• Provide guidance on data governance and security in alignment with best practice standards; and
• Support our clients through technology change by assisting with approaches to programme delivery, identifying technology and data risks and recommending approaches to resolve risks, and monitoring the implementation of tech change to deliver outcomes.
• Building consensus with clients and conducting effective engagement status meetings, delivering portions of CXO meetings and/or presentations
• Staying abreast of digital technologies
• Using AI and prompts to support delivery of key inputs for deliverables
• Creating and promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment while encouraging individual contributions
• Successfully building, directing, and maintaining motivated, empowered and diverse teams
• Developing methods, frameworks, presentations, and deliverable structures

Ō pūmanawa | About you

You will be experienced with technical and business architecture across both public and private organisations. You will be confident with building rapport and presenting to clients. You will like working with people and helping them to adopt new and improved solutions. Key capabilities and experience may include:

• Consulting experience
• Experience developing business and technical architectures, as well as strong understanding of modern solution architecture concepts
• Experience working with data platforms, analytics, machine learning and AI,
• Comfortable navigating digital systems,
• Experience designing and facilitating workshops, financial and data analysis, management of system upgrades and replacements and system design and improvement
• A degree or equivalent experience in commerce, information systems or another related field
