Senior Solution Architect – Wellington

We're looking for a Senior Solution Architect to play a key leadership role within a high-performing team, guiding technical direction, defining architecture processes, and ensuring successful integration across multiple regional partners.

You'll be the technical lead supporting a range of regional stakeholders, helping to shape and deliver innovative, secure, and scalable solutions. Your work will include:

  • Providing architectural and technical expertise
  • Supporting third-party developers as they integrate with APIs and data feeds
  • Resolving solution gaps and ensuring alignment with global capabilities.
  • Defining and embedding a new Architecture Governance process

You'll be an experienced architect who thrives on complexity and collaboration, with a proven ability to bridge business goals and technology delivery. You'll have:

  • Strong background in architecture design across large or complex systems.
  • Experience delivering high-level and detailed designs, intentional and incremental architectures, and options assessments.
  • Proven ability to interpret business needs and translate them into practical, future-ready designs.
  • Experience working alongside architecture, security, and data teams to produce robust technical artefacts.
  • Familiarity with modern tools, methodologies, and frameworks – from automation and cloud technologies to collaboration and security.
  • Proficiency with architecture frameworks and modelling tools (e.g. TOGAF, Archimate).

  • The confidence to influence and build trust across varied organisations and technical teams.
  • Emotional intelligence, adaptability, and a pragmatic approach to working within a multi-agency environment
