Senior Solutions Architect

Location: Wellington

Employment Type: Permanent, full-time

The Role

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you'll define architecture standards, align data strategies with business goals, and provide technical leadership across multiple technology initiatives. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define architecture standards and align data strategies with organisational goals
  • Provide governance and guidance on solution design, data modelling, integration, transformation, and security
  • Lead design discussions to guide development and integration of technology
  • Mentor and support other architects through coaching and knowledge sharing.

About You

  • 7+ years in Solution Architecture, with strong data architecture experience and at least 3 years in a senior role.
  • Deep knowledge of data platforms, cloud architectures, and modern data stacks
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Spark or similar)
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
  • Good communication skills and strong stakeholder management skills.
