We are seeking an experienced House Leader who has confidently supported people with complex or challenging behaviours. You will bring a calm, resilient approach and the ability to guide your team through dynamic situations while maintaining a safe, positive, and empowering environment for the children and young people we support.

Our Child Youth and Respite service is centred on supporting children with intellectual, physical, and developmental disabilities to thrive in safe, nurturing home environments. We work alongside each child to build confidence, develop life skills, and participate meaningfully in their communities. Our teams play an essential role in creating stability, promoting positive behaviour, and ensuring every child is supported to live a life that reflects their strengths, interests, and aspirations. We are on the look-out for passionate, committed people to work with us in our respite homes, providing support to an amazing bunch of children and young people from ages 5-21 years old. We provide diverse support options, from working with babies and children through to providing crisis support for youth. The children have challenging behaviours and require full personal care, including toileting and bathing.

The children we support go to school during the day and as such, this role may involve split shifts (early mornings/late afternoon and onward), in additional to weekend and sleepover shifts, there is a split shift allowance. We require someone with full availability to work all shifts. We provide 24 hour support which consists rotating roster Monday through to Sunday.

Our House Leader role combines support work and engages, motivates a team of a support team in the home. Working and gaining guidance from your Service Manager you would be supervising to ensure an efficient and effective successful service to people we support in a community home.

If you're interested in supporting people to develop self-confidence and independence, and live their lives of choice, lives like any other, in their own communities, then we want to hear from you today
