The Properties tīma (team) within operational excellence business unit holds a critical support tūranga in BNZ. The Properties tīma are responsible for the execution and delivery of our overarching property proposition, strategy and workplace service functions to ensure we achieve strategic outcomes aligned with our BNZ ambition to deliver world class colleague and customer experience here at BNZ.

You will join a supportive tīma and have the opportunity to ako (learn) and develop your skills.

This is a fixed-term opportunity through to January 2027 based in on-site at 1 Whitmore Street in Wellington.

We sat down with one of our Tīma Leader's (who you'd report to), and they let us know the following bout the tūranga:

What are the day-to-day tasks the person will complete?

• Be the workplace champion first point of contact for BNZers on office floors and provide assistance and direction as necessary to ensure our colleagues experience for their in-office days is a great one.
• Provide a friendly and approachable can-do experience to all BNZers, assist in queries and raising of workplace related issues, FM requests and work with the workplace team to ensure that issues raised for assigned floors are being closed out promptly.
• Ensure that in kitchen colleague floor essentials are fully stocked and stationery cabinets are monitored and restocked as required.
• Work closely with workplace concierge to set up meeting rooms and assist the team with the organisation of inhouse events and catering.
• Be proactive in identifying and logging any workplace related issues before they are raised and walk your assigned floors throughout the day to monitor and manage.

What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?

To be part of the BNZ workplace team in a supportive and collaborative environment, being a workplace services champion that is the first point of contact for BNZers and mailroom deliveries. No two days will be the same

• Flexibility to manage day to day tasks

What will success look like for the candidate in this tūranga?

Becoming a fundamental part of the workplace services team, delivering exceptional colleague experience and creating an environment where everyone feels welcome.

What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this tūranga?

The candidate will need to be highly motivated self-starter and assertive. You will need to be organised, have good people skills and will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment with delivery focus.
