We're looking for a motivated and adaptable Recruitment Resourcer to join our small, high-performing team. This is a role where accuracy matters, follow-through is everything, and your ability to stay a step ahead will keep clients and candidates happy.

What you'll do

This is a busy role where you will match candidates to client job requirements, keep the recruitment process moving, and ensure every placement is backed up by accurate documentation, completed background checks, and workplace health and safety requirements.

You'll own the recruitment process, including:

  • Screening and interviewing candidates (by phone + in person)
  • Completing candidate compliance (reference checks, Ministry of Justice checks, ACC history, right-to-work checks and more)
  • Managing candidate documentation, onboarding, and database accuracy
  • Administering pre-employment drug testing (training provided)
  • Liaising regularly with clients on their staffing requirements and providing effective solutions
  • Booking workers into assignments and ongoing management of temporary work placements
  • Communicating with clients regarding worker availability, job placement updates, worker performance, and health and safety matters
  • Ensuring positive candidate and client experiences
  • Ensuring the health and safety of candidates through the completion of all compliance requirements

Hours & Details

  • Full-time hours
  • Monday to Friday — 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (sometimes 5 PM on a busy day)
  • Rostered after-hours phone, shared among the team
  • Office-based, Timaru location
  • Start date: 12 January 2026
