We are currently seeking experienced HVAC Project Managers to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company with a strong team culture and a commitment to excellence.


About the Role

Reporting directly to the National Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of HVAC projects. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing HVAC and refrigeration projects from conception to completion
  • Working with clients to scope, plan and cost projects
  • Preparing and submitting estimates and collaborating on tenders
  • Scheduling and coordinating staff and subcontractors
  • Monitoring and reporting on project performance, budgets, and timelines
  • Managing variations and ensuring margins are maintained
  • Submitting accurate and timely monthly progress claims
  • Ensuring health and safety compliance and quality standards are met
  • Contributing to internal reporting and continuous improvement
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members
  • Playing an active role in the ACSL management team

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll bring a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and communication skills. Ideally, you have:

  • Proven experience in HVAC & refrigeration project management
  • Strong understanding of NZ building codes and industry best practices
  • Knowledge of estimating, quoting, and managing contract variations
  • Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Effective communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Experience with Simpro (advantageous but not essential)
  • Full NZ Driver's Licence
  • NZ residency or valid work visa
