What the Role Delivers
Management of all service activities throughout New Zealand to ensure products and services are delivered in a timely manner, at a competitive cost, to the full satisfaction of internal and external customers.
Participation in the development of operating strategies for each business unit, monitoring operational efficiency through performance indicators and establishing a culture of continuous improvement.
Work together with the wider NZ team to maximise the potential for all products and services in New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
In order of relative importance
- Implement and co-ordinate service activities throughout New Zealand, across all business units
- Define and manage necessary resources to fulfil services efficiently, including the recruitment, coordination and management of temporary contractors
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to assist commercial team in maximising potential sales
- Perform services (applications, installations, calibrations, fruit testing etc) as required
- Develop and maintain training content, ensure all employees and contractors are properly skilled
- Support proper documentation, archiving and compliance to corporate requirements and regional standards
- Manage claims related to Service performance issues
- Support inventory management processes throughout New Zealand, including stock counts, management of slow-moving stock etc
- Responsible for metrics related to service activities and continuous improvement
- Support other operational and commercial activities as required

What to Have Done and Know How to Do
These skills and experiences are highly desirable; however, they do not preclude exceptions based on an individual's performance history and demonstrated potential.
- Experience in Chemical /Agricultural industry, Supply chain or Logistics (3 years+)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office advanced level (at minimum Excel advanced)
- Analytical & reporting skills
- Driver's License
- Ability to travel throughout New Zealand as required
- Enterprise Resource Planning Software ERP - SAP S/4HANA (preferred, not essential)
