The Role
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Liaison & Outbound Sales Coordinator to join our Auckland team on a part-time basis.
This role is responsible for outbound customer engagement, follow-up of sales opportunities, and providing day-to-day support to our Operations, Sales, and Technical teams. You will play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring clear, timely communication.
You will use systems such as CRM (Zoho) and Pronto ERP to support quoting, order management, and customer coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to promote Gridworks products, solutions, and updates
- Proactively follow up leads, quotations, and opportunities generated by the sales team
- Provide customer support related to orders, availability, lead times, and delivery
- Act as a central customer liaison, ensuring professional and timely communication
- Support the sales and technical teams with quotations, tenders, product approvals, and administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM (Zoho)
- Liaise with sales, technical, and operations team to ensure smooth customer outcomes
- Provide backup support during busy periods or staff absences

- Consistent, proactive customer engagement with minimal follow-up required by sales staff
- High customer satisfaction and reduced escalation
- Accurate CRM data and reliable reporting
- Strong teamwork and willingness to assist across functions
About You
You are organised, confident, and customer-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You will ideally have:
- Experience in outbound sales, customer service, or customer liaison roles
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive and resilient approach to customer engagement
- Experience using CRM systems (Zoho preferred)
- Exposure to ERP systems such as Pronto (advantageous)
- An interest in, or experience with, LV/MV electrical or utility products (advantageous)
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- A team-oriented and flexible mindset
