Project Manager – Tauranga / Hamilton / Rotorua

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Project Management team to lead exciting projects in both horizontal and vertical projects across NZ.

About the Role

You will join our project management team taking ownership of projects end-to-end with a bit of support. As project manager you will work alongside both public and private clients to oversee projects.

The role spans from briefing, design management, contractor procurement, to managing construction, monitoring progress and then wrapping it up at the end.

What We're Looking For:

  • A person who gets things done, is solution-focused, proactive, and detail-oriented

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • 3–10 years' experience in project management or construction

  • Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Familiarity with procurement methods and NZS3910 contracts preferred

  • Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver successful projects

  • Develop project briefs, budgets, and programmes

  • Design procurement and management

  • Develop and lead procurement of contractors

  • Act as Engineer's Representative under NZS3910, NZS3916

  • Chair meetings, monitor progress, and ensure quality outcomes
