To help us with this, we are searching for a Finance Analyst (Graduate) to join our Finance Team based in Invercargill.

What you'll be busy with:

You'll be supporting the Finance team in the production of meaningful financial insights and the execution of treasury strategies. Specifically:

  • Maintaining financial models for the Group's forecasting and planning cycles, ensuring accurate representation of business performance.
  • Supporting planning and stakeholder meetings by offering insights on options and impacts.
  • Conducting ad-hoc financial business analysis as needed.
  • Assisting with wholesale funding activities, including planning, stakeholder coordination, and preparing meeting minutes.
  • Supporting financial reporting to ensure accurate and timely disclosure statements and regulatory reports.

What you'll bring:

  • A genuine passion for the banking industry and a strong grasp of its core value drivers.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel, including experience building robust financial models.
  • Collaborative attitude, always ready to support teammates and contribute wherever needed.
  • Driven and committed to ongoing professional growth and continuous learning.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a talent for following instructions effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to plan, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet deadlines.

This role is full time, 37.5 hours a week, 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
