Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located newly established Ellerslie Training Studio in Auckland, New Zealand, for a Learning Facilitator. The Learning Facilitator will be responsible for delivering NZQA-accredited training in security and hospitality. Responsibilities will include preparing engaging lesson plans, conducting practical training sessions, assessing learners' progress, and adhering to educational standards. The role requires collaboration with the training team to ensure a tailored and inclusive approach to education while fostering a respect-filled and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in delivering training sessions and facilitating adult education.
  • Proven skills in communication, active listening, and maintaining learner engagement.
  • Knowledge of NZQA standards, assessment practices, and relevant industry guidelines.
  • Capability to create inclusive, supportive, and adaptive learning environments for diverse groups.
  • Teaching or training certification is preferred, with experience in security and hospitality.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and adaptability in a classroom setting.
  • A commitment to embodying and promoting the values of manaakitanga, respect, and care in professional practice.
