Our Dunedin clinic is looking for a genuinely enthusiastic nursing professional for an exciting Community/Rehab Nurse role. We will provide you with the tools you need to succeed so that you can look after people the way they deserve to be taken care of – the Pacific Health way.

You will be based with the excellent, supportive team in the MacAndrew Road clinic but will travel for client visits. This role will be a mixture of both Rehab and Occupational Health where no day will be the same.

You can either be an Occupational Therapist or a Rehab Nurse looking for a challenging yet exciting opportunity in the rehabilitation space.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide on ground support to clients – rehab services – both community and in-clinic based – to include rehab planning, wound care, associated documentation, client case review/discharge meetings
  • Work within relevant contract timeframes for service delivery
  • Work with people from diverse backgrounds at different locations
  • Provide quality case assessments
  • Maintain a good understanding of ACC's contract operational guidelines and legislation

The ideal candidate:

  • Relevant BHSc Nursing qualification or a NZ OT registration and current APC
  • Current registration with the NZ Nursing Council.
  • Full NZ Driver's License
  • Able to compose and write succinctly and clearly and produce relevant reports
  • A people focused person who is warm and approachable
