We are seeking a GP or GP registrar interested in working with the Hospice team.

This is a part time role on a fixed term (0.5FTE) contract for one year.

The expectation is that the experience and knowledge gained from this position will be taken back into the community to help strengthen the provision of quality palliative care to all who need it.

The position is 0.5 FTE during the week and there is an on- call requirement of approx. one weekend on call every 6 weeks (Friday evening until Monday morning). Mentoring and support will be provided by the specialist staff with ample educational opportunities.

We are seeking expressions of interest from GPs or GP registrars who would like to gain experience in palliative care by working in the Nurse Maude Hospice Inpatient Unit as a member of the Integrated Palliative Care team.
