RotoruaNZ are seeking an experienced International Sales Manager to lead and grow Rotorua's presence across key Western international markets.

In this role, you will build and strengthen relationships with travel trade partners, airlines, wholesalers, OTAs and agents. You'll drive our Western Market Strategy, represent RotoruaNZ at offshore trade shows and sales calls, and ensure Rotorua is front of mind for global travel sellers. You will also mentor and support our International Trade Executive, ensuring coordinated, professional engagement across all international sales activity.

This position is perfect for a confident communicator with strong tourism trade experience, excellent sales capability, and the ability to simplify complex information into compelling, persuasive messaging. You'll proactively identify opportunities, collaborate closely with our marketing team, and deliver high-quality famils, presentations, and market activity that reinforce Rotorua as a world-class destination. This role involves a significant amount of planned travel, availability to travel internationally is a must.

You'll be part of a values-driven team passionate about Rotorua's identity, manaakitanga, and visitor experiences – helping elevate the region's reputation on the global stage. Your work will directly contribute to RotoruaNZ's commercial outcomes and the long-term growth of our visitor economy.
