The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

This position will be working Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 5.00pm based at our Rotorua site.

In this position, you'll match applicants to suitable housing, maintain their tenancies, handle documentation, ensure RTA compliance, monitor payments, and enforce the Residential Tenancy Act 1986. Additionally, you'll oversee timely and cost-effective repairs to maintain tenancies.

We are particularly interested to hear from candidates with Tenancy Management expertise and Level 4 Property Management qualification.

  • Applicants must hold the Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Residential Property Management or a recognised equivalent.
  • Alternatively, you will commence study towards this within six months of starting your employment with LinkPeople. This needs to be completed within six months of starting your employment. LinkPeople offers significant support for Tenancy Managers to complete this study.
  • You'll have at least 2 years of experience in property management and administration.
  • You'll have the ability to work effectively and proactively across multiple teams both internally and externally to support our most vulnerable in the community in a tenancy setting.
  • Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act 1986.
  • Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
  • Full New Zealand driver's licence.
