Pavilion bar & kitchen is a new dining establishment in Queenstown, created by renowned chef Sean Connolly. Sean has developed award-winning restaurants across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. Including Esther at QT Auckland, Gowing Bar & Dining at QT Sydney, etc. He has also served as a judge on My Kitchen Rules.
About the role

Be involved in a new and exciting restaurant serving fresh produce with high-quality ingredients and equipment.
We are hiring multiple roles CDP work in our fast-paced restaurant and Pizzeria, focusing on cooking and preparation of high-quality steaks, Pasta, seafood items and beautiful authentic handmade pizzas.
Steak&
Operating with two Montague steakhouse broilers and an originally designed fire pit in a modern style kitchen with high-quality equipment.
Pizzeria
Operating with an Italian-made two Marana pizza oven, which is the best pizza oven in the world, with well well-managed dough room to control our high-quality performance dough. You will never see having a two-pizza oven in the same place.
Drop
A soft serve yogurts shop
Key Responsibilities
- Only Applicants with valid working rights in New Zealand.
- Assists with the organization of kitchen stock and ingredients.
- Complies and follows all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards are met.
- Keeps cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operating hours.
- Complies with the conditions of the food hygiene policies.
- To be flexible and willing to help other departments at busy times if required.
- Works with Chef to meet all standards in the kitchen.
- Works with Chef, ensuring sections are cleaned and sanitized after each service.
