Overview

Set on 650 acres of lush green fairways, rolling hills and gentle streams, Millbrook Resort is an internationally acclaimed, luxury lifestyle resort, and we are proud to be an employer of choice within New Zealand.

We are currently seeking a professional, service-focussed Food & Beverage Supervisor to help lead our Functions team, where we deliver unforgettable guest experiences from weddings to high-profile corporate events.

What you will do

As a key member of our Food & Beverage Team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless events and functions service by maintaining the highest standards of presentation, efficiency and hospitality.

  • Oversee the setup, service and pack-down of all function events.
  • Help lead and inspire our high performing Functions team.
  • Ensure every guest receives five-star service - form first sip to final farewell.
  • Collaborate with the wider Food & Beverage and Kitchen teams to execute varying sizes of events.
  • Bring your genuine passion for hospitality and leadership skills together to ensure our world-class standards are maintained.

Success Profile

  • At least one and a half year's previous Food & Beverage service is required, preferably in functions or banqueting service.
  • High level of communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to complete administrative tasks (MS Office).
  • Agilysys or similar POS system knowledge is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to roster and manage a team.
  • Proven ability and desire to continually provide superior customer service.
  • Strong commitment to teamwork coupled with a "can-do" attitude.
  • Ability to work full time including shifts, weekends & public holidays
  • Drivers Licence advantageous due to our Arrowtown location.

Pay Rate: $ $30.00 gross per hour depending on experience

Location: Arrowtown, Queenstown

Hours: Full time permanent (30/40 hours per week guaranteed)
