The Channel Manager Impulse Role
Cookie Time Limited is undergoing remarkable growth, and we're on the hunt a Channel Manager Impulse to join our Templeton (Christchurch) based team. Working collaboratively across the business to deliver CTL's long term account strategies, the Channel Manager Impulse will partner with our Oils, Organised Convenience and Direct accounts, while supporting our Franchise Sales Network to develop their independently-managed outlets. This is a dynamic role for someone hungry to make their mark, tasks will include (but not limited to);
- Leadership of our Impulse account relationships, developing and executing a clear and aligned path to success.
- Accounts plans set for each account, including targets and promotional plans, with continued management to ensure maximum performance.
- Increasing representation and visibility of the Cookie Time, Bumper, OSM, Em's and Higgins brands in trade, at both a head office and consumer level while ensuring brand standards are maintained across all touch points.
- Opportunity gap analysis, with a clear action plan and timely reporting to outline and demonstrate revenue and margin growth.
- New product activation, supporting internal stakeholders to execute Go to Market program while bringing new innovations to the Impulse customers.
- Business Development through hunting incremental growth opportunities. This may include new channels, customers or products that add growth to existing accounts.
- Promotional planning across all channels, Analysis including return on investment metrics, Sales and Operations forecasting, and rebate analysis.
What we're looking for
Attitude is everything in the Cookie Time Limited family. We're seeking an individual who has an open, growth mindset, enjoys a fast paced dynamic environment and thrives on seeing their hard work come to life. A self-starter who is able to lead the Impulse account space, while keeping key stakeholders up to date.
- Strengths in organisation, communication, flexibility and ability to work through multiple projects and timelines.
- Commercial acumen, creating account plans and ability to review performance and promotional effectiveness across a number of metrics.
- Resilience, ability to adapt to challenges and seek solutions.
- A strong affinity for our brands, Cookie Time, Bumper, OSM and Em's Power Cookies.
While a qualification isn't essential, experience in sales and/or account management, ideally within the FMCG industry, is. Ability to build and maintain strong, long lasting relationships is crucial, alongside having a strong commercial focus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for category, consumer and shopper insight analysis is also important.
