Mechanical Planner Scheduler

What you will be doing
Reporting to the Utilities Plant Maintenance Engineer, the primary accountability of this position is to improve workforce productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays, maximising tool time, minimising downtime and maintenance costs. Working closely with the PME, Technicians and Trades, you will ensure our team can successfully deliver planned work, on time and on budget while ensuring good customer service.
What you will bring to the role
We are looking for someone who has a strong trades background with electrical and planning experience. Your ability to be flexible and organised will be the key in helping our team to deliver towards our business priorities. In addition, you will bring to the role and team:
- A tertiary qualification, Mechanical trades background or relevant experience in the industry
- Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling and estimating processes
- Knowledge/experience in the use of SAP R/3
- Compliance with safety procedures and policies
- The capacity to plan, organise and delegate responsibilities to others
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong computer skills, know your way around systems and spreadsheets
- Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work and contribute to our diverse and inclusive teams
