Role

Is for a skilled operator with experience trenching for, in, and around services such as drainage, while also having some sharp final trim skills. Health and safety is extremely important and you'll need to have a decent operating / civil background. You'll be mainly excavating but you won't be scared to get off your seat when needed to help out the team. Projects will involve a mix of construction and drainage projects.

For this role you'll be able to confidently read and interpret plans, be well-presented and enjoy a client-facing role. You're a team player and willing to assist others when needed, able to work unsupervised with a steady workload and preferably be located in Invercargill, while open to working around the wider Southland region. But, most of all, you'll love what you do and take pride in your work

What we are looking for:

  • Skilled excavator operator with 5+ years NZ experience trenching for/in/around services and/or drainage
  • Current WTR and Class 2 or above (bonus)
  • Understanding of the importance of Health & Safety
  • Reliable, motivated, and keen on full time hours
  • Good attitude and willingness to get stuck in
