We're looking for a capable and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to support a busy Conveyancing and Estates Lawyer. Prior legal experience is a bonus but not essential - we value adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to grow.  A comprehensive induction and on the job training will be provided.

The role

You will provide support to a friendly and high performing Lawyer and her team, enabling them to maximise their productivity and deliver exceptional service to our clients.  Additional responsibilities will include reception and telephone duties, and other office tasks as required to keep our busy Whanganui office running smoothly.

This is a fulltime role 8.30am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

About you

You will:

· Have solid administration experience (prior legal experience would be advantageous, however not essential).

· Be proactive, with a can-do attitude and quick to learn new tasks

· Be tech-savvy and confident using IT and software systems, including proficiency in Microsoft Office

· Be adaptable and open to evolving technology
