Synergy Retail Group NZ / Head Office has a new opportunity for a 'Senior Level' Marketing Coordinator  to join our team. We are super busy with an increasing workload for 2026. We are a retailer of Salon Professional Products, Beauty products in an Omni Selling Channel / E-Commerce environment. Our market is a very busy and fun category to be a part of.

Synergy Hair is a National Brand with consumer retail channels, upper market hairdressing services in 15 stores, E Commerce Sub Brands with further retail, wholesale / trade channels, and a brand & product importation business.

You will be responsible for planning and implementing marketing strategies & activity across all brands and selling channels - while guiding a team, and working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.

The position is a full-time role, Monday to Friday* located in Christchurch. You won't get bored, will be busy and will contribute to the Physical Stores , the Digital – E Commerce business and overall Marketing dynamics. You'll need to be creative, think outside the box and move as the market we operate in moves. It doesn't stand still.

Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Develop Business marketing strategies & advertising campaigns across all business categories and channels to drive brand growth and sales.

· Have a working knowledge of all digital spaces we operate in and the connection of these to maximize business sales and opportunities including POS Systems, E Commerce, Socials, SEO, Google Ads, Klaviyo/Mail Chimp, EDM's etc

· Manage & Work within the technical aspects in the IT back end of the digital stack for the business. Manage and contribute to e-commerce development projects when required.

· Have enhanced experience with social mechanisms Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook/Meta. Plan, theme, film, design, post content. Be comfortable on front of camera.

· Plan & Manage business workflows to ensure campaigns & business process's run smoothly

Manage & oversee product data in Stock Systems, CRM / Customer data, POS     and Woo Commerce

· Have experience & working knowledge of physical store merchandising and customer experience mechanisms.

· Manage & Overseeing the digital order channel, customer service levels and assisting with P & P dispatch etc in this area

• Connection & Visiting our NZ stores as required for business needs as necessary

* General Office Administration requirements

The following experience would be beneficial and an advantage to you. Guidance will be given to the successful applicant, but you must have previous knowledge & experience. Formal qualifications will be advantages

• Have an analytical mind

• High attention to detail.

• Excellent written English.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office 365 (WORD, Excel, Office).

• Good social media and Marketing creativity

• Have an experienced eye for design.

• Have an interest in hair & beauty products.

• Understand deadlines


• InDesign or Illustrator or Canva use

• Woo Commerce or Shopify E-Com experience . (Word Press)
