RealNZ is seeking a passionate and visionary Head of Hospitality to elevate our food, beverage, and hosted experiences across all tourism experiences. This is a unique opportunity to influence the way guests connect with our places and purpose, through our hospitality offering, ensuring every interaction reflects our values and conservation purpose.

In this role, you'll be the driving force behind hospitality excellence at RealNZ. Working closely with operational leaders, chefs, and our experience designer, you'll coach teams, uplift capability, and embed a high-performance hospitality culture ensuring consistency across all experiences. From menu design and service rituals to storytelling and atmosphere, you'll ensure every detail creates emotional connections and unforgettable memories. You'll also play a key role in shaping new experiences, supporting commercial performance, and championing sustainability across our food and beverage operations.

What You'll Bring

  • Formal qualifications or significant experience in Hospitality, Business, Tourism, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
  • Extensive senior experience in hospitality, food & beverage operations, or guest experience leadership, ideally overseeing multiple sites, teams, or business units.
  • Strong ability to influence, coach, and uplift capability without direct reporting lines.
  • Demonstrated expertise in F&B operations, menu development, cost/margin management, food safety, or hosted experiences within tourism environments.
  • Experience working across multiple regions or business units in a matrix structure.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, coaching, and facilitation skills.
  • Passion for creating emotional connections between guests, place, and purpose through hospitality.
