We are seeking an interim senior technology manager to work with this boutique, yet complex (from a systems integration perspective) organisation, based in the Auckland CBD.

This initial six-month period will primarily see you undertaking an audit of the current technology infrastructure, consulting with the leadership team on the forward IT pathway, offering recommendations, insights, methods and tools to enable a mid-term vision for technology to be determined.

You will also provide day to day support to a small support team as they manage BAU requirements.   

As a basis of experience, it is a very clear preference that you have a strong accounting and finance process understanding, supported by familiarity with ERP systems, particularly around the finance and operations functions.  This organisation utilises Microsoft Dynamics as its base system with several specialist addons are also utilised.  Their data is lake based on a Microsoft Fabric platform, so familiarity with this is also necessary.

If you have familiarity with commercial property and hotel operating systems, in addition to the base level systems suggested above, this would be a distinct advantage.

As you'll  need to hit the ground running, you are likely to either be operating in a technology consulting capacity currently or are an experienced head of technology,  who has led similar reviews previously.

This role is full time and office based, so you need be happy to work in the office on a daily basis.  We are seeking a November start ideally.
