Waitaki Boys' High School is looking to employ a new Manager for our onsite Boarding Hostel, Don House. The success and sustainability of Don House is central to the on-going success of the school, and has provided generations of young men with a secure foundation.

This role reports to the Rector and is primarily responsible for managing the day- to- day management and activities of Don House, its boarders and staff, and ensuring that the numbers in Don House continue to grow.

The person we are looking for will have excellent communication, organisational and budgeting skills. The successful applicant will be someone who sets high personal standards, and who can motivate both the boarders and staff to continue to provide and grow our 'small giant' of a Hostel. Experience in a boarding school setting would be preferable.

This is a permanent live-in full-time position of 40 hours per week. The provision of housing on site is part of the package. An appropriate remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
