**About the Role**:
The role is responsible for providing Category insights and recommendations that influence business decisions as well as building, leading, reporting and educating the business / relevant employees on Category Strategy and trends to drive growth for GWFNZ.

**Key accountabilities of this position include**:

- Acts as a lead between Sales and Marketing to develop category reviews for all relevant Banners and Categories
- Take full ownership of planning meetings to ensure full stakeholder engagement and plans are captured and executed to a high standard.
- Develop appropriate tools for the Sales team to ensure effective activation
- Monitor, analyse, report, and provide insights on market activity and activations.
- Collaborate with sales to continue to lift the benchmark for category knowledge
- Management of external databases and relationships

**About You**:

- 5+ year’s proven category management experience. FMCG experience preferred.
- Proficient in MS office, Circana, Nielsen
- Strong leaderships and stakeholder management skills
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Is self-driven and demonstrates constant curiosity
- Strong business partnering skills with both internal & external customers
- Ability to distil large amounts of data into key insights
