Are you passionate about sport and inspiring young women to participate and excel? Woodford House is seeking an enthusiastic Sports Coordinator to support our vibrant school sports programme. About the Role

As Sports Coordinator, you will:

  • Administer the school's sports programme (intra-school and inter-school).
  • Promote inclusive participation and support student leaders, coaches, and managers.
  • Organise team selections, entries, and logistics for competitions and events.
  • Manage uniforms, equipment, travel, and accommodation for tournaments.
  • Maintain accurate records, budgets, and ensure compliance with health & safety.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and external organisations.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and policy development for sport.

What We're Looking For

  • A strong interest and understanding of sport in a school setting.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and external partners.
  • Proven ability to manage events, travel, and multiple deadlines.
  • Coaching experience or ability to support teams across sporting codes.
  • Data literacy and confidence using digital systems.
  • NZ driver licence (First Aid and H&S knowledge desirable).
