About the role

We are looking for a Process Engineer Graduate to join our dynamic team in a permanent full-time role. In this position, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining key equipment in the food production plant to ensure finish products meet safety and quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to food safety regulations, and an appreciation for the demands of a high-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor production plant / processing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations to maintain product quality.
  • Conduct temperature, pressure, and sterilization checks as per standard operating procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or operational issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance and report equipment faults.
  • Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.

Skills & Experience:

  • Prior experience or knowledge of process/mechanical engineering in food manufacturing environment is required.
  • Understanding of thermal processing, sterilization, vacuum evaporation and retort operations.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety compliance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a high-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills for recording data and reporting.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends if required.
  • Successful candidate will require to be part of rotational late shift. (approximately 1 day per week)
  • Able to communicate efficiently in work environment.
