Sales & Support Executive – Payments & POS

We are the market leader in prepaid solutions, with a network of over 7,000 retail outlets nationwide. Our products are delivered through Point of Sale systems, back-office platforms, and EFTPOS terminals, ensuring seamless integration and convenience for our partners.
The Role
We are looking for a motivated, personable, and technically capable Sales & Support Executive to represent our full suite of payment solutions across the Otago region. Based in Queenstown, you will be responsible for selling and supporting payments, EFTPOS terminals, POS solutions, and related technologies across key sectors including hospitality, retail, and tourism.
This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys a blend of sales, hands-on technical work, relationship management, and problem-solving. You will manage the entire customer lifecycle—from lead generation and sales through to installation, training, servicing, and ongoing support.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Drive new business across hospitality, retail, tourism, and other sectors in Otago.
- Promote and sell our full suite of payment and POS solutions, including EFTPOS terminals, POS hardware/software, QR payments, and value-added products.
- Build strong relationships with local businesses and identify growth opportunities.
- Conduct product demonstrations and prepare tailored proposals.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Installation, Training & Technical Setup
- Complete onsite installations of payment terminals, POS systems, and related hardware.
- Configure devices, test connectivity, and ensure seamless setup.
- Train merchants and staff on system functionality and best practices.
Service & Support
- Provide ongoing post-installation support, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Respond to occasional after-hours call-outs when required.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams for escalations.
- Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.
Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships to drive retention and solution uptake.
- Act as the local face of the business in the Otago region.
- Share feedback on customer needs, trends, and opportunities.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in payments, EFTPOS, POS, or technology sales (preferred but not essential).
- Strong technical aptitude and confidence installing hardware.
- Proven sales experience in solutions-based or technology environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
- Full NZ driver licence (required).
- Ability to lift and install POS hardware when needed.
