The Digital Marketing Executive will provide marketing assistance for “The Hub”, a marketing services team delivering outstanding results across several companies. As well as NZSki, your responsibilities extend to other companies within the Trojan Group including Ultimate Hikes and Aoraki Mt Cook Alpine Village.

About the Role
This role will be working closely with the Head Of Marketing Services and the Marketing Managers of Trojan Holdings’ tourism companies. Based in our Head Office in Queenstown, you will be tasked with the below.

**Web and Ecommerce**:
Management of our digital presence requires regular collaboration with agencies and other vendor partners. The day to day running of our website, ecommerce store and referral website listings will require regular content updates through our CMS platforms. Campaign and content marketing activity will require the creation of landing pages and website content that is on brand. Ongoing web activity would be to create growth strategies to plan, execute and measure experiments and conversion tests. Further collaboration with internal teams to create richer landing pages and truly optimise our user experience. HTML and CSS coding knowledge would be an advantage.

**SEO/SEM**:
SEO/SEM knowledge and experience is critical to support in the execution of our growth focused digital marketing strategies. Strengthening our SEO rankings is an “always on” approach that requires regular reviews. SEM (paid search) is delivered by our digital agency and requires oversight and paid search targeting understanding across NZ, and Australia and key overseas markets.

**Social Media**:
Work with our digital agency and business teams to deliver effective social media advertising across our campaigns and social channels. Designing, testing and optimising campaign performance to drive sales, engagement and brand awareness. Monitoring and responding to social media engagement in a prompt and on brand tone. Having strong creative copywriting skills is a must.

**Display Advertising**:
Support in the planning, design and execution of our digital display advertising, including GDN, Programmatic and YouTube advertising. You need to have a strong understanding of Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Facebook Business Manager.

**Performance and reporting**:
Analyse digital performance and suggest solutions to boost web presence and conversion rates. Monitor all digital marketing channels against organisation KPIs and sales performance metrics to forecast trends. Communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences. The reports created must interact cross-functionally with a wide variety of people and teams, so common language is required. Review, analyse, and update campaigns to optimise performance of media budget.

Data and innovation
Support the businesses through analysing data to identify trends and opportunities to improve the guest experience and drive sales performance. Push innovative digital technology in a fast test and learn environment.

About You

Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent industry experience
- Proven working experience in digital marketing (4 years+ in a similar role)
- Ability to work with a team and/or independently
- Ability to build strong relationships with diverse people
- Experience in segmenting databases and analysing data to identify trends and opportunities
- Strong attention to detail, and time management
- The willingness to travel and work varying hours as work duties require
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A solutions-oriented approach

Preferred Experience
- Highly creative with experience in contributing to effective digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Digital agency experience
- Experience with running A/B testing initiatives
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Paid Search campaigns
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript developments and constraints
- A skier or snowboarder
