**Queenstown Retail - Retail Assistant**
The key to success in this role is the ability to engage with our guests in a fun manner while you seek to match their needs with the goods we have on offer.
Our SnoShops sell some cool stuff - from our branded range to the latest goggles, sunglasses and accessories it's a great place to work Supplier representatives will train you in their range - however, a passion for sales and the ability to retain large amounts of information will help see you right in this role.
**About the role**
- Meeting and greeting all guests and visitors to the SnoShop
- Sharing your passion and knowledge of the products for sale with our guests
- Seeking opportunities to maximise sales
- Monthly stocktakes
- Operation of the Point of Sale (POS) till system and balance takings at the end of each day
- Managing the layout and displays of the SnoShop
**About You**
- A real people person - we want you to be the 'personality' of the SnoShop guests don't just come in for the products they want to talk to YOU
- Previous experience in a snow retail environment along with proven cash handling skills
- Good mathematical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Previous experience using Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Willingness and flexibility to assist other departments as and when required
