A leading private organization, with a sizeable IT team is seeking a Senior Business Analyst, to work on a high-profile project, based in Auckland CBD. Initially until September 2026 with our client looking for someone who is immediately available.

Tō tūranga hou | Your new role

In your new role, you will be responsible for business process mapping and design, liaising with stakeholders to understand, identify, and evaluate business requirements, align them with business needs, and determine appropriate solutions to problems and opportunities.

Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed

  • Engage with clients to swiftly understand their needs and translate them into structured user stories and artefacts.
  • Take ownership of complex, often ambiguous requirements, driving them to clarity for Scrum teams.
  • Maintain a keen attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
  • Collaborate effectively within an agile environment.

  • Great experience in Business Analysis, ideally working on a vendor side
  • Previous experience in the banking or financial services sector, particularly in the development or management of digital products, will be considered a distinct advantage
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Happy to work 5 days in the office - the office is close to the Britomart Station
