About The Client
My client is a fast-growing B2B SaaS cyber risk platform helping organisations simplify, visualise, and act on their cyber and technology risks. Their platform is already in use across enterprise and government, and they are expanding rapidly across New Zealand and Australia, with global growth on the horizon.
They are now looking for an ambitious and proven Business Development Manager who is excited to drive growth, build strategic relationships, and shape the future of their go-to-market success.
The Role
You will lead business development activity across the ANZ region, working closely with the leadership and product teams to expand our client base and partner ecosystem. This is a role for someone who wants to build a territory, a pipeline, and eventually a team.
You will be responsible for:
- Driving new business acquisition across enterprise, government, and partner channels.
- Developing and executing regional go-to-market strategies.
- Building and managing a strong sales pipeline from initial engagement through to close.
- Engaging with MSSPs, consulting firms, and technology partners to accelerate adoption.
- Representing the company at key industry events and thought-leadership forums.
- Providing valuable client insights back into product and marketing strategy.
About You
You are commercially driven, highly motivated, and comfortable selling into complex enterprise and government environments. You understand the technology landscape and are comfortable discussing cyber, data, or risk solutions with senior stakeholders.
You will bring:
- 5+ years of proven track record in B2B business development or account management within technology or SaaS.
- Experience selling into enterprise and government clients.
- Ability to engage confidently with senior decision-makers (CIO, CISO, Risk, Procurement).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to identify and cultivate new opportunities.
- A background or interest in cyber security is advantageous.
