Customer Way Delivery and Change Lead

What you'll be doing:
As our Customer Way Delivery and Change Lead, you will:
- Manage and deliver continuous improvement projects for the Customer Way, ensuring clarity of priorities for front line leaders and teams.
- Use best practice project management and change strategies to align stakeholders and drive ongoing value delivery.
- Document and communicate the Customer Way programme of work, creating transparency and reducing cognitive overload for teams.
- Develop, own, and embed change management plans alongside projects and workstreams.
- Partner with Strategy & Programme and Communications teams to leverage NZTE's best practice approaches.
- Build strong relationships across the business, ensuring change is well-embedded and projects are streamlined.
- Ensure all project documentation is aligned, risks are captured, and lessons learnt are reported to the Director, Customer Way Operations.
What you'll need to be successful:
You'll be an experienced project and change leader with:
- Proven experience in end-to-end management of continuous improvement projects in a global organisation.
- Demonstrated expertise in Change Management (ideally with a relevant qualification).
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and guide outcomes across teams.
- Experience in project and programme management methodologies and best practice.
- Excellent interpersonal skills—able to communicate clearly, create clarity amongst complexity, and navigate ambiguity and conflict with confidence.
- Adaptability, creativity, and calmness under pressure.
- High emotional intelligence to work with diverse stakeholders and priorities.
