Are you an inspiring leader with a passion for shaping the next generation? Kidz Kindy, a well-established family-owned group of centres, is on the lookout for a Centre Manager to lead our Gisborne team.

We're looking for someone who can guide and support our Kaiako, while making sure our tamariki enjoy high-quality, fun, and tailored learning experiences every day.

The role:

As Centre Manager, you'll be at the heart of the centre  - leading your people, supporting whānau connections, and keeping things running smoothly. You'll:

  • Lead with vision and inspire your team.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with whānau and the wider community.
  • Oversee budgets, resources, compliance, and operations – including Te Whāriki.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive space where tamariki thrive.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven leadership in ECE (Centre Manager or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of Te Whāriki and ECE legislation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) or Primary Education (or equivalent).
  • A valid NZ work visa or residency.

This is a centre licensed for up to 85 children – a big role with plenty of opportunity to make an impact.
