This is a permanent fulltime position working 40 hours per week.

About the Role:

As Centre Manager, you'll step into a leadership position that's as rewarding as it is challenging. You'll have the opportunity to shape the culture of your centre, build strong relationships with tamariki, whānau, and kaiako, and uplift your team with purpose and passion.

In this role, you will:

  • Inspire and lead a committed team of educators
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with tamariki, whānau, and kaiako
  • Champion high-quality teaching and learning practice
  • Coach and develop your team to reach their full potential
  • Ensure excellence in compliance, curriculum, and planning

About You:

You'll bring passion, professionalism, and purpose to everything you do. You'll also have:

  • A Level 7 ECE qualification and a current NZ Teaching Certification
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally as a Centre Manager or Head Teacher
  • Sound knowledge of ECE regulations and Te Whāriki
  • A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and inclusive practice
  • A growth mindset, effective coaching skills, and a love for quality teaching
