The Opportunity

You'll join a high-performing Tauranga team known for its social culture, technical excellence, and collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will step straight into meaningful work on major projects, with progression opportunities on the horizon.

You'll take ownership of:

  • Detailed design and delivery for a large, fast-tracked subdivisions.
  • Mentoring and technical support for junior and intermediate engineers.
  • Exposure to renewable energy infrastructure — including upcoming solar farm projects.
  • Contributing to quality assurance, design reviews, and technical leadership across the civil team.
  • Helping shape the team's direction as it grows.

About You

You're a senior-level Civil Engineer who enjoys both the technical and the people side of the job — confident in your design ability, but equally motivated by helping others develop.

You'll bring:

  • CPEng (Chartered Professional Engineer) status — or very close to achieving it.
  • 6+ years' experience in civil design, ideally within land development or infrastructure projects.
  • At least 2 years' experience within the NZ industry.
  • Strong capability in Civil 3D (training available for the right candidate).
  • A proactive, down-to-earth approach that fits a social, team-oriented culture.
