Our Merchandising team is seeking a skilled and driven Sales Specialist to join their Workplace Solutions team selling furniture and tech fitout. You will work closely with our sales team, to identify potential opportunities for new and existing customers. You will have a consultative, design, technical and/or sales background that helps you identify and adapt to each customer and their requirements to create the environment they envisage. With our Head Office in Auckland and offices in Wellington and Christchurch, you could work from any of these sites to support our nation-wide sales team.

About the Role

  • Proactively engage & seek out new & existing clients to understand their unique environment needs & provide tailored solutions
  • Conduct on-site assessments & make recommendations to optimise clients' furniture arrangements
  • Prepare detailed proposals & quotations, negotiating terms to secure new business
  • Maintain & grow lasting relationships with clients through excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Negotiate with vendors to provide quote & tender information

About You

  • Strong sales solution focus with a reputation for spotting new opportunities
  • Excels in building & maintaining relationships with an active network
  • Excellent problem-solving & negotiation skills to close deals
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills, with the ability to build trust & influence key stakeholders

·       Proficient in using CRM systems & Microsoft Office to track performance & report on activities

  • Passion for furniture with space planning & an eye for the details
