Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Our Legal Compliance Manager leads the development and implementation of our legislative compliance programme and works closely with our Legal and Regulatory and Risk teams.

What you'll be doing:

  • Developing and maintaining a legal compliance framework and programme for NZ Post
  • Educating and supporting leaders on their key legal obligations and risk awareness
  • Identifying, prioritising and addressing legal compliance needs across NZ Post
  • Monitoring, measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of our legal compliance programme

Mōu - About you

As our Legal Compliance Manager, you'll be comfortable balancing competing risks and priorities and use your pragmatic approach to find workable solutions that reflect the business needs and realities.  You'll hold a Bachelor's degree in Law and have strong experience legal compliance roles, along with:

  • Strong understanding of NZ legal and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent communication, pragmatism, and problem-solving skills
  • A reputation for collaborative working relationships and achievement through partnerships
  • Experience in logistics, e-commerce or training is a bonus
