Senior Legal Counsel

This hands-on, commercially focused role offers the opportunity to partner across the business, support the launch of new products, and play a key role in guiding the company through its next growth phase.
About the Role:
- Provide clear, practical legal advice that enables strategic priorities while managing risk.
- Support the rollout of new products, services, and commercial initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with compliance and risk teams to ensure regulatory obligations are met.
- Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of commercial agreements.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and advise on their impact.
- Offer guidance, training, and support across the wider business.
About You:
- 8+ years PQE in financial services, corporate, or commercial law.
- Current NZ practising certificate.
- Strong commercial judgment and confidence to operate independently.
- Previous in-house experience is highly advantageous.
