About the Role:

Coordinate domestic and international freight operations, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient delivery of high-value cargo. This is a fast-paced role for someone who communicates clearly and thrives under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate secure logistics for high-value shipments (domestic & international)
  • Ensure all customs and freight documentation is accurate and compliant
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow strict "Need-to-Know" protocols
  • Keep accurate data in operating systems for tracking, reporting, and invoicing
  • Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, internal teams, and clients
  • Support risk assessments and escalate potential service disruptions
  • Research logistics requirements for accurate quotations
  • Recommend workflow improvements

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Reside in Auckland and be legally eligible to work in New Zealand

  • Proven experience in freight or logistics coordination

  • Understanding of international freight terms and customs requirements

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel

  • Calm, professional, and solutions-focused under pressure
