As we continue to modernise our digital environment, we're on the lookout for a driven Digital Workplace Engineer to help shape the way our teams connect, collaborate and work. 

About the role:

As a Digital Workplace Engineer, you'll support the delivery of a seamless and secure digital experience for our corporate teams and hotel staff. Your focus will be on managing and supporting end-user platforms, productivity tools, and collaboration systems that enable hybrid work across multiple locations. 

You'll work with our national Digital Technology team and external vendors to ensure stable, optimised, and user-friendly digital environments across the organisation. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues related to hardware, systems, and applications.
  • Support Office 365, Citrix, Windows environments, VPN, DNS, DHCP and more.
  • Contribute to hardware deployments, software rollouts, and digital transformation projects.
  • Work with senior engineers on server patching, infrastructure upgrades, and virtualisation.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance the employee digital experience.
  • Maintain system documentation, knowledge base content, and asset records.
  • Participate in an after-hours on-call roster and occasional site visits.

What you'll bring:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a Systems or Digital Workplace Engineer role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Office 365, Citrix, Active Directory, and VMware.
  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell or batch), DNS/DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN.
  • Good working knowledge of end-user devices, network fundamentals, and cloud tools.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • A proactive, customer-focused mindset with the ability to prioritise and manage tasks.

Nice to have:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, ITIL).
  • Familiarity with the hospitality industry.
  • Experience working in hybrid or multi-site environments.
