We're Hiring Community Services Team Leader – Hawke's Bay

Want to make a real difference in people's mental health and wellbeing?

As part of the Community Team, you'll be leading the Team in the Lighthouse Napier & Hastings, Advocates, Access & Choice, based in Napier and Hastings.

About the Role:

You'll work directly alongside and lead some great people in small teams, providing programmes, mentoring, coaching and making a difference by to supporting whanau who need extra help with wellbeing, community connection, daily living skills, whānau support, and self-management.

Flexible, person-centred support is at the heart of what we do.

We're looking for someone compassionate, culturally responsive, and great at building relationships.

Experience in mental health or social services

  • Able to uphold professional, ethical, and culturally safe practices

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum of Health & Wellbeing (Mental Health) Level 4 is a MUST.
  • MUST have a Full, clean driver's licence
  • Proven experience in leadership of teams
  • Understanding of cultural diversity and Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Comfortable using Recordbase, ECA, and Microsoft tools
  • Experience working within Māori frameworks and with diverse communities
