Telehealth Doctor

We are currently seeking an experienced Telehealth Doctor to join our Prescription Hair Care Team.

About You

The ideal candidate for this role is flexible and has excellent customer service skills. You will enjoy the telehealth style of working and have the ability to work collaboratively within the company. You will have a keen interest in the hair growth industry and be willing to educate your clients on a day to day basis.

The Role

In this role, your key responsibilities will be to:

• Provides advanced assessments, diagnosis, education, and prescriptions via telehealth to patients within the scope of the role.
• Review medical questionnaires
• Educate client on types of hair loss and treatment options
• Document all consultations and care
• Prescribing medications
• Print, hand-sign, and scan original scripts to Gro's partner pharmacy by the end of each rostered shift
• Post original signed scripts to Gro's partner pharmacy every (7) days (envelopes are provided by the compounding pharmacy)
• Refer clients to Hair Growth Specialist if a transplant is appropriate
• Recommending Gro's retail range
• Assist PHC Nurses with end of day tasks if applicable
• Respond to patient emails regarding prescribed treatment, dosage, side effects, etc.
• Conduct follow-up calls/consults with patients as required

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Essential

• MCNZ registration
• Clinical experience in prescribing within individual scope of practice.
• Advanced interpersonal and communication (written and verbal).
• Ability to use a variety of IT platforms.
• Evidence of appropriate and continuing professional indemnity insurance.

Desirable

• Knowledge and understanding of the hair restoration, hair loss treatment industry.
• Demonstrated understanding of key cultural issues influencing practice, patient relationship and patient needs
