Fundraising Consultant – Contractor ($150/hr + success-based bonus)

About Us
AM International Students Charitable Trust is a New Zealand-based charity supporting international and immigrant students through education, cultural exchange, and community services.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Consultant to help us design and implement a strategic fundraising plan, apply for public and private funding, and manage relationships with donors and sponsors. You'll work directly with our board and leadership to drive resource growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute fundraising strategies
Research and apply for grants (govt & private)
Build and manage donor and sponsor relationships
Support reporting, stakeholder engagement, and growth planning
What We're Looking For:
Proven fundraising and grant writing experience
Knowledge of NZ charity/government funding landscape
Strong communication and relationship skills
Strategic thinker with initiative and results focus
Based in Auckland; nonprofit background preferred
Contract Details:
Contractor role: $150/hour
Bonus based on successful funding secured
Flexible hours; part-remote possible
