As a Student Fundraising Customer Service Representative, you will be tasked with contacting alumni for a variety of reasons, including updating their contact information, learning about their post-graduation experiences, and sharing ways they can stay engaged with the University.

You will also encourage alumni to make a donation to support the University’s ongoing initiatives.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your communication and customer service skills, while making a tangible impact on the University community.

**Work pattern**
- ** Shift times**: Monday - Friday: 4 till 8 pm
- ** Training dates**: 19th till 21st March 2025
- ** Campaign Dates**: 24th March till 9th May 2025

**About the team**

Our Annual Giving Programme offers an opportunity to those closest to us (our alumni and friends) to play an important role in the University now and in the future by making a gift to support a variety of projects including student support

**About you**

You must be a current University of Auckland student and entitled to work in New Zealand.

**We’d love it if you bring the following skills**:

- Experienced in dealing with people from a wide range of backgrounds
- Have customer service or call-centre experience.
- Excellent command of the English language (written & verbal)
- A confident, positive, and friendly disposition.
- An understanding of the importance of attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident listening and negotiation skills
- The ability to manage University workload and job hours
- Good general knowledge about the University of Auckland and a willingness to learn more.
- Have an active involvement in student life and clubs
- Able to handle objections and overcome challenges by turning negatives into positives.
- The ability to use your own initiative in a variety of situations.
- The ability to work independently and in a dynamic team environment.
