As our Group Finance Manager, you'll be a key part of our Finance whānau. You'll lead the Group's financial accounting and reporting, ensuring our business has the clarity, confidence, and insight to make great decisions - today and for the long term.

You'll guide a talented team, collaborate across RealNZ, and champion robust, transparent financial governance. This is a role where your impact will be felt widely, and where you'll help shape how we care for our business now and into the future.

What you'll be doing

You'll lead our Group's financial performance, owning the month‑end close and consolidations, ensuring our financial story is accurate and consistent, and partnering with FP&A to deliver clear, meaningful insights to the Board.

You'll strengthen our financial foundations by maintaining robust internal controls, overseeing external audits and statutory reporting, and keeping our Group accounting policies current and compliant.

You'll champion continuous improvement, simplifying and elevating our financial processes, and guiding the business assurance programme to support stronger governance and risk management.

You'll also grow and support your team - coaching through our #bestme approach and fostering a collaborative, accountable, high‑performing culture.

What are we looking for?

  • A CA or CPA qualification
  • Strong experience in financial accounting, statutory reporting, and audit management
  • A solid understanding of NZ IFRS and compliance requirements
  • Experience leading month-end and year-end processes
  • Strong relationship‑building skills - with auditors, advisors, and teammates alike
